These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Junkyard Gold website at junkyardgold.com and the purchase of any products from Junkyard Gold ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, submitting a quote request, or purchasing from Junkyard Gold, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and accept these Terms in full. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers.
2. Products & Descriptions
All products sold by Junkyard Gold are used automotive parts, sourced from salvage vehicles. We make every effort to accurately describe the condition, mileage, and specifications of each part. However, used parts may have cosmetic imperfections, surface rust, or minor wear consistent with their age and mileage — which are not grounds for return unless they affect the functional operation of the part.
Mileage is verified to the best of our ability using available records. Where mileage cannot be fully verified, this will be noted. All engines and transmissions undergo our multi-point inspection process before being listed for sale.
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order if a product is found to be unavailable or incorrectly priced after the order is placed — in such cases a full refund will be issued.
3. Orders & Payment
All orders are confirmed through our team by phone or email. We do not accept unconfirmed web orders without team verification, as compatibility must be confirmed before shipment.
Full payment is required before shipment for standard orders. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and bank wire transfer. Prices are listed in US Dollars. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Once payment is received and the part is confirmed for your application, your order is finalized. You will receive a confirmation with your order details and estimated shipping timeline.
4. Shipping
We ship to all 50 US states via freight carrier. Processing time is 1–3 business days. Transit time is typically 5–10 business days. Shipping costs are calculated based on the part weight and delivery location, and will be disclosed before payment is finalized.
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the freight carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, acts of God, or other circumstances outside our control. If your shipment is delayed beyond the estimated window, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.
Upon delivery, inspect the shipment for visible damage before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt. Failure to note damage at delivery may limit your ability to file a freight damage claim.
5. Warranty
All used engines and transmissions are covered by our warranty for up to 90 days from the date of delivery, unless a shorter period is disclosed for a specific part at time of purchase.
Our warranty covers internal mechanical defects present in the part at the time of sale. It does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Failure resulting from lack of maintenance (oil, coolant, transmission fluid)
- Overheating due to cooling system issues in the host vehicle
- Modifications or alterations to the part
- Labor costs for removal or reinstallation
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Normal wear and tear
For full warranty details, see our Warranty Policy.
6. Returns
Returns are accepted within the warranty period for defective parts or parts that do not match the confirmed order. To initiate a return, contact support@junkyardgold.com with your order number and description of the issue.
Parts that have been installed and are functioning correctly cannot be returned. Parts that have been modified, machined, or damaged post-installation are not eligible for return. Restocking fees may apply to returns that are not the result of our error.
Approved returns will be issued a replacement part (subject to availability) or a refund, at our discretion. Return shipping instructions will be provided upon approval.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Junkyard Gold shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of vehicle use, towing costs, rental car costs, or loss of income.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific part giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
8. Installation Responsibility
Junkyard Gold sells parts only — we do not provide installation services. It is your responsibility to ensure the part is installed correctly by a qualified mechanic following manufacturer specifications. Improper installation may void the warranty and may cause damage to the vehicle or the part.
We strongly recommend that all fluid systems (cooling, oil, transmission) be properly flushed, serviced, and inspected in conjunction with any major engine or transmission replacement.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Manatee County, Florida.
11. Changes to Terms
